The state of Gujarat is famous for these sarees: Bandhani (also called bandhej), Patola, Lehariya, Ajrakh, Kutchi, and more. And we feel proud to be able to make ready to wear sarees in all these varities. The Patola ready to wear saree is usually made of silk and woven in double ikat. Maroon is the most common colour  and the elephant and tiger are most common motifs in these sarees. The Bandhani ready to wear saree fabric is made using the tie and dye technique. These sarees used to be made is cotton and silk only but now come in georgette, chiffon, and various other fabrics. Its normally of single colour but the multicolour Lehariya is also in vogue. The Ajrakh ready to wear saree has the art of printing with wooden blocks. The design to be printed is chiselled on the wooden block, dipped in colour and then stamped on the fabric. These sarees look extremely elegant and sophisticated when worn.
