  • Do you also do the fall and pico in the ready to wear saree?
    Yes, we fix the fall and do the pico (stitching of the saree edges) when we stitch the ready to wear saree. Note: For sarees that already come with a border fixed as a part of the pattern, we eliminate attaching the fall.
  • Do you also have ready to wear blouses?
    We don't offer readymade blouses but stitch the blouse that comes along with the ready to wear saree. We have an online template where you can provide your blouse measurement. Here's the link: https://www.readytowearsaree.com/blouse-measurements And we offer a catalog of blouse patterns you can choose from. Once you provide the measurements and select the pattern code, we stitch the blouse and send along with the ready to wear saree. When you place an order for a ready to wear saree or a conversion order on our website, you can select whether you want the blouse stitched. You can click the above link and provide measurements.
  • Can I return the ready to wear saree if I don't like it?
    Yes, you can return the saree if you're not happy with the product. Here are all details of our return policy: Return Policy | readytowearsaree.com
  • How do I maintain the ready to wear saree?
    You can maintain the ready-to-wear saree in the same manner as you would maintain a regular saree. The washing instructions for the ready to wear saree are the same as a regular saree. You can dry clean or iron a ready-to-wear saree like any stitched garment, for example, lehenga or dress.
  • Do you also pleat the pallu of the ready to wear saree?
    By default, we don't pleat the pallu of the ready to wear saree as women want the option to leave the pallu loose when they want. For those who request the pallu to be pleated, we provide a pleated pallu.
  • How do I pay after placing an order?
    You can either pay online or opt for cash on delivery.
  • Do you provide a string to tie the inner layers of ready to wear saree?
    Yes, we provide a string to tie the inner layers and a hook with 5 bars to clasp the main saree on the waist. For those who prefer a velcro over the string, we provide a velcro on request. Check out this video for the velcro model:
  • Why do you take 10 days to deliver the saree?
    Since these are customized ready to wear sarees stitched as per the person's waist and height, we don't pre stock the sarees. After you place an order, we procure the saree and stitch it as per your measurements. Therefore, we require 10 days for the entire process.
  • Do the prices on your website including shipping cost?
    Yes, all prices on the website include shipping, you don't have to pay anything additional for shipping for orders all over India. For international orders, actual shipping charges apply. For international orders, we will provide you the shipping cost as incurred, after dispatch, which you need to pay.
  • Will you alter the saree if there are fitting issues?
    Yes, our aim is to give you the perfect fitting saree. We will alter the saree anytime if you are not happy with the fitting or need any changes in the saree waist, height, or pallu
  • What do you mean by attached lining or attached petticoat?
    If you opt for an attached petticoat or lining, we attach the petticoat to the saree itself when stitching the ready to wear saree. We use a soft crepe fabric for the petticoat so that it doesn't shrink and gives a slim and compact look. With this option, you won't need to wear a separate petticoat, you can directly wear the saree. So, it becomes more convenient. Otherwise, the appearance of the saree is the same with or without an attached petticoat.
  • How do I fold the ready to wear saree?
    We have added videos on the home page of the website explaining how to fold the ready to wear saree. The videos show how to fold a ready to wear saree when the pallu is loose and when the pallu is stitched.
  • Do you have a cash on delivery (COD) option?
    Yes, we do. A charge of Rs 100 is applicable for COD orders.
  • Do you offer any discount on conversion of sarees?
    Yes we offer Rs 50 off on each saree for conversion orders of 3 or more sarees.
  • Can i get a stitched saree back to the original form when i want to?
    We do not cut the saree; we fold the saree as per your height when we stitch the saree. So, it's possible to remove the stitching and revert the saree back to the original form anytime. It does take time and effort to remove the stitching but it's possible to do so.
  • Will I fit into the ready to wear saree if I gain or lose weight?
    We provide 5 hooks on the waist so if your current waist is 36 inches, the center hook will be at 36 inches and you will get 2 hooks below and 2 hooks above. So, the saree can be worn for waist ranging from 34 inches to 38 inches.
  • Do you convert any fabric saree into a ready to wear saree?
    Yes, we can convert all fabric sarees into the ready to wear format, including heavy kanjeevaram pattu sarees, elaborate work sarees, cotton, net, or organza sarees.
  • How many days do you take to convert a saree to ready to wear?
    We take 4 days after we receive the saree, to convert the saree to ready to wear and dispatch to your mentioned address. If the order also includes blouse stitching, we take a week to complete and dispatch back.
  • Do you take saree conversion orders from anywhere in India?
    Yes, we get sarees to be converted to ready-to-wear from locations all over India. Our conversion service is available all over India. You will need to send your sarees to our mentioned address in Bangalore. If you are outside Bangalore, you can avail the speed post option (from India Postal Services) if you're looking for the most cost-effective option. Alternatively, you can use any of the courier services to send your sarees to us. After we receive the saree, we stitch and send back the sarees to your mentioned address in 4 days and do not charge any shipping fee for that.   • What if I can't measure the height from the waist to the feet?
    If you can't measure the height from the waist to the feet, you can provide your full height and just let us know if you wear heels. We have a standard chart where we estimate the saree height based on your overall height. This chart assumes that you wear regular one-inch heels. If you let us know that you don't wear heels, we subtract an inch from the below saree height:
  • Will the ready to wear saree trip when I remove my heels?
    The ready to wear saree is similar to a skirt or lehenga so you can adjust it up or down on your waist easily. We give 2 inches extra height if you wear heels. You can easily adjust the height by moving the saree a little up when you are walking without your heels. So, when you are giving your height measurement, please include heel size in it, if you wear heels. Here's an image for reference:
  • How do I give the height for the ready to wear saree?
    You need to measure the height from the point where you wear the saree on the waist to the feet. If you wear heels, you should measure after wearing the heels. If you can't measure this, you can provide your overall height and let us know if you wear heels. We have a standard chart where we estimate the saree height based on your overall height. This chart assumes that you wear regular one inch heels. If you let us know that you don't wear heels, we subtract an inch from the below saree height:
  • How to give the waist measurement for the ready to wear saree?
    You should measure the point on the waist where you wear the saree, as shown in this image. Sometimes, customers give a larger waist size since their waist size may increase. This should not be done. We provide 5 hooks on the waist so you get a margin of 2 inches below and 2 inches above your exact waist size. It's important to give the exact waist measurement to get a good saree fit overall.
