FAQs For International Customers
How long does it take to deliver a pre draped saree internationally? Each of our ready-to-wear sarees is custom-stitched to your measurements—we don’t keep pre-stitched sarees in stock. Once you place an order, we source the saree and tailor it to your height and waist size, which takes approximately 10 working days. After that, your order is shipped from Bangalore via international courier. So, the total delivery time includes 10 working days for stitching plus the shipping duration to your location (typically 5–7 business days, depending on your country).
What delivery service do you use for shipping abroad? We deliver via FedEx and UPS, trusted courier partners known for their fast and reliable service across most countries. Our tie-up with them ensures smooth and timely delivery of your sarees.
What measurements are needed for a ready to wear saree? There are 2 measurements required: Waist, at the point where you wear the saree and Overall Height, from head to toe. We determine the saree height based on your overall height so you just need to give your full height. The third thing we need to know is whether you wear heels. We add 1.5 inches to the saree height as heels provision. Note: Please provide your exact waist size, don't add or subtract any inches. We anyway provide a margin of 5 hooks with the center hook at the exact waist measurement.
How do I maintain and fold a Ready to Wear Saree? Caring for a ready-to-wear saree is just like caring for a regular saree. You can dry clean or gently hand wash it, depending on the fabric. Iron it like you would any stitched garment—such as a lehenga or a dress. What is your return policy for international orders? Since each WiMO saree is custom-stitched to your measurements—including the blouse and attached petticoat—we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges. Does the saree come with a stitched petticoat and blouse? Yes! Our ready-to-wear sarees come with the option of an attached petticoat, so there’s no need for a separate one—you can wear it directly over leggings or shorts. If you choose the blouse option while ordering, we also provide a stitched blouse tailored to your measurements.
