We banded together to create something pretty special – the WiMO ready-to-wear saree. Sarees are like a staple in every woman's closet. But let's be real, sometimes draping them can feel like a whole production. That's where our ready-to-wear saree swoops in to save the day! We're all about keeping this timeless garment alive and kicking for generations to come by making the whole saree-wearing thing a breeze. Whether you're a newbie trying a saree on for size or a busy bee rushing to work in the morning, or maybe you're a homemaker, a blushing bride, or a new mom just trying to get to a family shindig on time – our ready-to-wear saree has got your back! It's all about making life a little easier, one saree at a time.
Back in December 2019, a good friend of ours approached us with a simple question: did we know where she could find ready-to-wear sarees? She confessed that she struggled with the traditional way of draping sarees and was hoping for an easier solution. Together, we embarked on a search, expecting to find plenty of options online or in the saree shops around Bangalore. But to our surprise, there was a glaring absence of genuine ready-to-wear sarees. What we did find were either traditional sarees bundled with ready-made blouses or flashy, shimmery sarees that hardly resembled what we were looking for. It was a lightbulb moment – why not create our own genuine ready-to-wear saree? And so, armed with determination and a sewing machine in our living room, we began tinkering away. The early attempts were far from perfect – awkward pleats, wonky stitches, and an elastic here and there to hold it all together. But with each iteration, we refined our design, tirelessly tweaking and adjusting until we finally hit upon something that felt just right. Fast forward to January 2021, and we proudly launched our first perfect version of the WiMO ready-to-wear saree. And the rest, as they say, is history.

We're all about girl power here! Meet our incredible all women team, each with her own inspiring tale. There's Aashika, the multitasking queen who handles our Amazon orders like a boss while keeping her home life in check. Then there's Madhu, always sporting a smile and ready to lend a hand to anyone and everyone. Sarita is our ironing extraordinaire, ensuring those ready-to-wear sarees are crisp and perfect. Pushpalatha is our fierce communicator, bridging the gap between us and our talented tailors. And let's not forget Dhanu, our youngest member who's balancing her accounting duties with her BCom studies like a true superstar. Together, we're a force to be reckoned with!
Our Tailors
Can't forget the unsung heroes behind the scenes – our team of talented lady tailors and their supportive husbands. It's worth noting that our leading tailors are all women, working tirelessly from their homes to craft our ready-to-wear sarees. These remarkable women not only secure employment for themselves but also train their husbands, who assist them not only in tailoring but also in handling pickups, deliveries, and sourcing materials. As a result, they're now able to provide for their families, ensure their children receive an education, and enjoy a good quality of life. Knowing that we're able to empower these individuals to stand on their own two feet brings us immense joy and fulfillment. They're the heart and soul of our operation, and we couldn't be prouder to work alongside them.
